FIXED-TERM: FOR 12 MONTHS

The University of Edinburgh Research Office is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Clinical Research Funding Specialist to join the Research Funding Team. The post holder will proactively facilitate, support and contribute to the submission and award of externally funded research activity involving human participants, through expert guidance on content and administrative structures, and will be lead contact for a portfolio of schools or funders.

YOUR SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS:

• Process-driven, great attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Demonstrable knowledge of the UK research environment, especially clinical.
• Demonstrable ability to analyse and summarise complex issues in research funding.Team player with good interpersonal skills, a collegial and customer-focused approach to the delivery of services.
