Description

Synairgen is a respiratory company developing SNG001, a broad-spectrum antiviral offering potential against a range of respiratory viruses, including common cold, flu and coronaviruses, which can lead to critical illness. By delivering SNG001 directly into the lungs as an aerosol we aim to boost and/or restore the lungs’ antiviral responses to clear the virus and improve patients’ outcomes.
We will be running a Phase 2 trial in patients requiring mechanical ventilation due to respiratory viral infections. These seriously ill patients face mortality rates of between 25% and 45%, and with SNG001, we are looking to demonstrate a significant reduction in mortality.
We are looking forward to conducting this clinical trial, and are seeking to recruit a experienced research nurse to join our Clinical Operations Team.

Skills and experience:

  • A qualified Nurse, a registration with no limitations to practice within the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • 3+ years experience as a Research Nurse working on clinical trials and non-interventional studies, preferably with a primary focus on respiratory and infectious diseases.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assisting and supporting the nurse team in providing high standards of nursing care in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct for Nurses and ICH GCP.
  • To take responsibility for the day-to-day conduct of clinical trials and tasks allocated by the nurse manager.
  • To be able to work autonomously, remotely and as part of the nursing team.
  • Conducting study visits in accordance with study protocols.
  • To be able to work to and meet deadlines, possess effective time management whilst also being flexible to the clinical trial requirements.
  • To be aware of, and work towards meeting the clinical team’s objectives.
