Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Practitioner to support NIHR portfolio research projects and provide clinical cover within the Research and Innovation Department. This role involves carrying out a range of administrative and patient care tasks under the guidance and supervision of research nurses and study investigators.
You will perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, ECGs, and cannulation, contributing to the smooth operation of research activities. The post holder is not required to hold statutory qualifications, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain experience in clinical research.
In this role, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team, supporting cutting-edge research and contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge and patient care. Your work will help ensure the successful execution of research projects, from patient recruitment to data collection and analysis. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills in both clinical and administrative aspects of research, working closely with experienced professionals in the field.
