We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Review Nurse to support our pre-litigation team in managing plaintiff medical care and facilitating comprehensive clinical reviews.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Clinical Review Nurse will play a key role in coordinating client referrals to appropriate medical providers, reviewing medical records, and supporting attorneys in evaluating the necessity and appropriateness of medical treatments. This position requires strong clinical judgment, analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a legal environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • BSN or closely related degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
  • Previous experience in a law firm or legal setting is highly desirable
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required

Responsibilities
  • Triage new client cases and facilitate referrals to appropriate medical providers
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to prioritize patient care and schedule referrals to specialists
  • Review and interpret plaintiff medical records to ensure treatments are medically appropriate and necessary
  • Conduct utilization reviews to assess the effectiveness and necessity of medical treatments
  • Coordinate treatment plans and ensure all care is authorized and scheduled accordingly
  • Communicate with providers to share findings and recommend care improvements
  • Analyze data to identify trends and provide reports on treatment utilization and resource allocation
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using current medical terminology
  • Communicate with clients regarding medical recommendations and care coordination
