Education

  • PhD in Biology or Biomedical Sciences preferred; MSc in Biology or Biomedical Sciences considered with relevant experience.

Experience

  • PhD: 0–3 years research laboratory experience.
  • MSc: Minimum 5 years’ experience in ISO/CAP-accredited clinical laboratories.
  • Preferred experience with flow cytometry, tissue examination, and immunochemistry.

Job-Specific Skills & Abilities

  • Flexibility to travel abroad for training (up to 3 months at a time, total of 12 months; all expenses covered).
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in laboratory work.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage complex laboratory tasks.
  • Commitment to hands-on advanced laboratory work and continuous learning in neuroimmunology.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly qualified UAE National for our Neuroimmunology Laboratory, the first of its kind in the GCC. In collaboration with leading international labs, NRL uses advanced technologies such as flow cytometry, microscopy, and immunohistochemistry to provide accurate and timely testing for severe neurological diseases, improving detection and treatment across the region.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct specialized laboratory analyses in neurochemistry and neuroimmunology.
  • Perform hands-on bench work using advanced techniques (flow cytometry, immunochemistry, microscopy, etc.).
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all laboratory procedures.
  • Collaborate with international laboratories and participate in the adoption of new technologies.
  • Travel abroad for training (up to 3 months at a time, total of 12 months; all expenses covered).
  • Maintain high standards under stressful conditions and commit to long-term contribution to the laboratory.
