Description Cedar Valley ASCENT is seeking a talented individual to assist providers with patient care across all locations. Responsibilities will include accompanying physician on patient examination, record accurate clinic notes such as procedures, testing, and exam findings in the electronic patient record. Review histories, allergies, medications, and immunizations. Accurately and thoroughly document the encounter as directed by the providers. This position is full-time. Monday-Friday. Requirements CMA or Clinical Scribe Certificate preferred. Will consider 1-2 years clinical experience without certification or licensure. Working knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology. Recognition of physical exam process. Computer proficiency and high proficiency in typing, spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Ability to adapt while performing under potential stressful situations or changing priorities. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team.
