An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Clinical Services Manager within Speech and Language Therapy across GG&C.

• We are seeking a Clinical Services Manager and Professional Lead to join our Adult Acute Speech and Language Therapy Service in GG&C. As a Band 8C Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for the management of the city wide service, including planning, developing, and delivering a high-quality SLT service that reflects local need. Your duties will include:
• Providing management, leadership, direction, supervision, professional consultation, guidance, and advice to staff working within this service. Ensuring appropriate financial control. Promoting governance and best practice principles in the delivery of SLT Service.

The Clinical Service Manager is accountable to the General Manager for the delegated management and control of resources. The post holder will implement achieve and deliver performance objectives within quality standards (e.g. ensure that performance targets are achieved such as agreed waiting list and time targets) and contribute to the corporate management of the Division through the Sector Management Team.
The Clinical Service Manager will also provide operational support to the General Manager in the efficient and effective delivery of all services across Clyde Sector.
