Responsibilities

The Clinical Services Manager plays a critical role in supporting the management team at Inverell Hospital, working alongside Nursing and Midwifery Unit Managers, Clinical Nurse Educators, and the Health Service Manager. This position focuses on overseeing Quality and Work Health and Safety initiatives and assisting with clinical recruitment, as well as the implementation of clinical programs and projects across the facility. The goal is to support clinical teams in delivering safe, effective, and efficient healthcare to the local community.
This dynamic role requires a proactive and collaborative approach within a diverse team, as well as strong organisational and time management skills. The Clinical Services Manager will also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage a variety of tasks across different teams. The position, which is part of the nursing administration team, reports directly to the Health Service Manager. The role is supported by both the Health Service Manager and Nursing and Midwifery Unit Managers, with additional guidance from Quality Managers and the Work Health Safety Coordinator. Training and clinical supervision will be provided to support staff development.
