Join our team today!Job DescriptionThe Clinical Services Manager for Oncology Ambulatory Clinics is responsible for the managerial oversight of the oncology clinics at both our Brampton Civic and Etobicoke General Sites.  The Ambulatory Oncology program includes a 32 chair chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatment suite (BCH), Survivorship program, urgent medical clinic, and multi-site outpatient primary care clinics in Medical Oncology, and Radiation Oncology.  This role includes, but is not limited to managing and overseeing daily operations, department communications, human resource management, operations workflow, orientation, training and staff development, and policy and procedure development and implementation. The activities of this individual must facilitate the integration of systematic change that positively impacts the provision of quality and customer service.Accountabilities:In consultation/collaboration with the Director, physician partners and team members will develop and implement the clinical service, functional and strategic plan for the programsIn consultation/collaboration with the Director defines the organizational supports and structures required for the programsEnhances community linkagesEstablish a professional practice climate and facilitates a multi-disciplinary approach to patient careCoaches, mentors and develops team members.  Motivate individuals to optimize performance to maximize scope of practiceEnsures that patient care is provided according to professional practice and standardsMonitors and responds in a timely manner to quality, safety, risk and other performance/outcome indicators, including CCO metricsManages the oncology patient/family advisory committeeInfluences and motivate staffs through transformational leadership and encourage effective relationships among the inter professional teams, regional program partners and stakeholders including Cancer Care OntarioWork in partnerships with physicians and other providers across the system to address priorities of the program such as Headwaters Health Care Centre, the regional Cancer program and other regional hospitalsHires, orients and manages staff performance as determined by human resource policies, union contracts, legislation and standards of practiceDevelops, monitors, controls and evaluates the budget in collaboration with administrative directors, physicians, health care professionals and staff in a team-oriented cultureDevelops processes for selecting, evaluating and maintaining material/equipment needed for enhancing patient careDevelops and maintains effective interdepartmental relationships and participates in activities which contribute to the effective function of the units, clinics, the program, and the corporationAdditional duties and responsibilities as requiredQualificationsHealth Discipline Professional designationUndergraduate Degree, required, Master’s, preferredMinimum five (5) years recent management/supervisory experience, preferredMinimum five (5) years recent clinical experience in oncology, preferredDemonstrated ability to establish effective interpersonal relationships including effective collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and external regional partnersDemonstrated effective leadership, planning and project management skillsExcellent problem solving and change management skillsExcellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skillsProven ability to establish positive relationshipsHighly motivated team playerEstablished reputation as a consultative, collaborative, coaching and mentoring style of leadershipEvidence of collaboration across disciplines/divisions/departments/programsAbility to travel between hospital sites.Additional InformationHours: Currently days (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)Salary:  Minimum:  $118,716.00 per annum Maximum: $148,395.00 per annumInternal application deadline: [December 31, 2026]#LI-SC1Osler values inclusivity and diversity in the workplace.
