Description Location Atlanta, GA Territory: South East (The Carolinas, Georgia, Florida) Candidates must live in Atlanta Metro area- Relocation not an option. Overview We are seeking a field-based Clinical Specialist to support interventional cardiology procedures across the assigned market. This role is highly clinical and customer-facing, focused on in-procedure support, product education, and driving adoption of advanced coronary technologies within the cath lab. The ideal candidate brings a strong cath lab clinical background combined with experience supporting medical device products in live cases. This is not a quota-carrying sales role, but close collaboration with cardiologists and cath lab teams is essential. Key Products Supported • Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) • Coronary catheters • Stents • Balloons Compensation Base salary range: $100,000 – $120,000 Bonus: $30,000 Total on-target earnings: $130,000 – $150,000 Car allowance provided Travel Requirements Approximately 70–75% travel 3–4 overnight stays per week, depending on case volume and territory needs Schedule flexibility required to support live procedures Primary Responsibilities • Provide hands-on, in-procedure clinical support during live coronary cases • Support interventional cardiologists and cath lab staff with device usage, best practices, and procedural workflows • Serve as a clinical expert on coronary anatomy, PCI workflow, and cath lab procedures • Educate physicians and clinical teams on product features, benefits, and proper use • Support product adoption and ongoing clinical education within assigned accounts • Coordinate case coverage across the territory and adapt schedules based on procedural demand • Maintain strong relationships with cardiologists, cath lab leadership, and hospital staff Requirements Prior experience as a Clinical Specialist in the medical device industry, specifically supporting interventional cardiology procedures Active or recent clinical background as a Cath Lab RN, RCIS, or Cath Lab Technologist Direct, hands-on experience supporting coronary procedures, including PCI workflow and coronary anatomy Proven experience providing in-procedure, hands-on clinical support during live cath lab cases Demonstrated experience working directly with interventional cardiologists and cath lab teams in a procedural environment Required experience with IVUS technology, including live case support and physician education Hands-on exposure to coronary disposable products, including catheters, balloons, and stents Ability to function in a non-quota, clinical-facing role focused on education, adoption, and procedural support Willingness and ability to travel 70–75% within the assigned territory, including frequent overnight travel Must reside within the the Atlanta Metro area.
