As part of the Clinical Team, Apple is looking for a Clinical Specialist who will partner with team members across the company to develop health products. Candidates must possess deep subject matter expertise in the assessment of health risks, and the prevention and treatment of diseases through lifestyle modifications, with an ability to translate clinical science into key actionable behaviors. DESCRIPTION The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to build innovative consumer-focused features, is effective at executing detailed deliverables on time, is capable of working closely with cross-functional teams, engages in open discussion and debate well, and is not afraid of a challenge. Responsibilities include: • Conduct thorough literature reviews and summarize key points • Define current guidelines and standards of care and identify gaps in current standards of care • Create clinical protocols and distill protocols and knowledge into requirements and principles that inform product development • Partner with engineering teams to support algorithm development including the design of feasibility studies • Collaborate with multi-functional teams on clinical product development • Communicate and manage relationships with a diverse group of internal and external partners • Anticipate, adjust for, and communicate problems, risks, and roadblocks MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS MD/DO with a Lifestyle Medicine certification Active US Medical License 2+ years of clinical experience delivering care focused on lifestyle medicine and prevention Product experience or experience working in companies with regulated medical products or digital health products Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to simplify complex clinical concepts and communicate these to non-medical team members PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Independent self-starter who thrives in complex and ambiguous environments
