Description
Responsibilities
To provide an advanced vestibular physiotherapy triage and treatment service in the ENT / Vestibular clinics, including referral of patients to the relevant pathways for ongoing management.
To work closely with the Multidisciplinary (MDT), in providing a dynamic, rehabilitation focussed, and evidence based service.
To provide specialist physiotherapy care to complex vestibular patients, referred to the physiotherapy department.
To consult on vestibular referrals received to other services within physiotherapy department.
Undertake a clinical caseload within the physiotherapy department.
To work with all relevant stakeholders to improve the pathway of care for patients between Community and Acute services.
To participate in audit and research activities.
To act as an education resource for colleagues locally, regionally or nationally
