Description

THIS IS A 100% TRAVEL POSITION. MUST LIVE NEAR A MAJOR AIRPORT.

We’re seeking a Clinical Specialist to support our communities by providing expert oversight, mentorship, and continuity of care when clinical leadership transitions or support is needed. You’ll serve as a clinical bridge and mentor, making a real difference when it’s most needed. Your leadership ensures our communities remain compliant and clinically sound even during times of transition. You’ll join a team dedicated to delivering exceptional care and top-notch resident experiences.
This position requires significant travel, primarily throughout the Midwest, with the ability to travel nationally as needed. We are looking for a confident RN with strong supervisory experience, a polished professional image, and the ability to quickly step in and lead with excellence.

As a Clinical Specialist, you’ll be the boots-on-the-ground clinical expert and temporary leader during times of transition. You will:

  • Step into the clinical leadership role when there’s a vacancy in a community.
  • Conduct resident assessments and update service plans to ensure personalized, appropriate care.
  • Address resident and family concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Oversee medication management programs to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Monitor care delivery and confirm ADL/Task Sheets are properly developed and implemented.
  • Support, train, and coach the care team to ensure compliance and confidence in their roles.
  • Investigate incidents and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure full compliance with state and federal assisted living regulations.
  • Help onboard and support the incoming clinical leader for a smooth transition.
  • Participate in audits and deliver training sessions as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Unencumbered RN license (compact license or eligibility to obtain one).
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory nursing experience (preferably assisted living or long-term care).
  • Assisted living experience required.
  • Proficient in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Electronic Medication Administration Records (EMAR).
  • Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to assigned communities as needed.
