Job Details Job Location: Walton - BH - Monroe, GA 30655 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 Job Shift: Day Job Category: Nonprofit - Social Services Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Director of Access and Routine Care implements, supervises, and monitors the day-to-day clinical operations and needs of routine care clinicians located within the Walton County Outpatient Clinic. Scheduled Hours: As the hours of operation vary based on the clinic’s hours and client needs, this employee will be required to participate in on-call outside of standard clinic hours (evenings, Saturdays) to assist with urgent matters as needed. Job Responsibilities and Performance Standards: Oversees the day-to-day clinical operations in the outpatient clinics. Works with Director of Access and Routine Care to formalize, implement, and monitor clinical workflow/processes, including processing monthly reports. Maintains a positive team-oriented work culture. Collaborates with Director of Access and Routine Care and other Clinical Specialists to ensure staff coverage. Ensures coverage in case of absences. Provides consultation to internal and external customers/partners regarding outpatient clinic services. Ensures processes are followed and aids in addressing issues related to outpatient clinic services. Directs monthly High-Risk Meetings at the site. Ensures clinicians are following all agency policies regarding High-Risk contacts and staffing. Provides supervision and consultation to clinicians to ensure the agency provides the best practices for those served. Conducts quarterly High-Risk Audits for clinicians to ensure all procedures are followed. Collaborates/communicates with all Clinical Specialists to process and manage internal referrals, planning lists, and clinician assignments for Walton County clinicians. Collaborates/communicates with the Program Specialist at the Walton County clinic to address needs and program processes. Collaborates/communicates with Director of Access and Routine Care to ensure clinical services at the outpatient clinics are adequate, appropriate, and accessible. Remains knowledgeable about guidelines and requirements that regulate provision of Routine Care, including, but not limited to: DBHDD Utilization Guidelines, CARF, ASO requirements, DBHDD contractual obligations, DATEP/HFR regulations, Advantage policies and procedures, etc. Ensures protocols are in place to ensure access to services. Collaborates with the Director of Access and Routine Care and subordinate staff to address and problem solve barriers to access. Conducts individual, family, group counseling and assessments as needed (This position will be expected to provide 10 hours of direct service per week via individual, group counseling or assessments). Assists the Director of Access and Routine Care with implementing and monitoring outpatient practices at the clinic and ensures established protocols are being followed. At the direction of the Director of Access and Routine Care, collects data on access to services, treatment outcomes, and client experiences. Acts as community liaison and client advocate in order to coordinate required services. Develops and maintains a network of community contacts. Participates in strategy or review sessions, committees and task force work to facilitate linkages and communication. Represents the agency in planned community meetings. In conjunction with the Director of Access and Routine Care, and Advantage’s Human Resources Department, interviews, hires, directs, trains, evaluates the performance of, and when necessary, disciplines and discharges employees. Defines job expectations for each position/each employee and communicates those expectations clearly. Provides initial onboarding/training to new staff and ongoing support and professional development of staff in the outpatient clinics. Trains new staff in the use of the Electronic Health Record system. Trains new clinical staff in agency policies and procedures. Tracks and monitors direct reports’ compliance with required yearly online training. Provides thorough training guides and documents for direct reports to aid in case conceptualization, clinical questions, and modalities of treatment. Completes initial Professional Development Log with new staff within 90 days of hiring. Meets regularly with direct reports and documents meetings on Professional Development Logs at least once per quarter (or more if deemed necessary). Completes yearly evaluation of direct reports and documents the evaluation on a PMF. Follows Advantage’s policies and procedures regarding disciplinary actions. Coordinates with other leaders and coordinators to schedule shadowing and onboarding opportunities for new staff as needed. In collaboration with the Director of Access and Routine Care, provides adequate direct clinical support to routine care clinicians. Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of services provided in the clinic. Monitors documentation of direct reports for thoroughness, accuracy, and completion within outlined timeframes to ensure they are performing in line with agency expectations. Attends training to facilitate best practices in programs and enhance relationships with community partners, as assigned. Ensures best clinical practices are being utilized in the Walton County clinic. Reviews curriculum/psychoeducation and facilitates implementation of evidence-based practices. Conducts and documents a monthly Peer Review meeting with clinicians. Assists in client interactions and situations where staff may need assistance to de-escalate clients and/or determine appropriate next steps. Promotes a supportive team environment that represents the mission, vision, and values of Advantage and creates a collaborative team approach to problem solving and planning. Attends agency and external meeting and training, as assigned. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree with full independent license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW). Commitment and dedication to working with adults and youth with severe and persistent mental illness. Organized and detail oriented. Strong clinical skills (including knowledge of diagnostic impressions/criteria, crisis interventions, individual and group therapy techniques, various therapeutic models for treatment, etc.) Strong time management skills. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Moderate to high proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.). Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of supervisory experience. Ability to monitor/supervise staff in remote locations. Computer skills - ability to use an electronic health record and to document accurately same day as service. Ability to work independently while still meeting defined benchmarks.
