Manage vacation requests like a pro, with a little help from your sidekick, the DON. Channel your inner diplomat and keep the lines of communication buzzing with the Director of Nursing. No secret agent skills required, but they might help! Put on your problem-solving cape and swoop in to resolve minor complaints. It's like being a customer service ninja! Become the time and attendance guru. Approve those timesheets with the precision of a Swiss watch! Be ready for surprise missions – other duties may pop up when you least expect them. Qualifications Basic Qualifications & Experience Education High School Diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of proven scheduling experience in a healthcare environment Requires broad knowledge of healthcare operations, including medical terminology, compressed workweeks, shift differentials, and wage and hour laws. Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, Time and Attendance Payroll system Must be proficient in basic business math Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language Working Conditions / Physical Requirements Light physical effort required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently. Sits, stands, bends and moves intermittently during working hours. Is subject to frequent interruptions. Interacts with residents, family members, visitors frequently.
