Provides supervision of the nursing operations of a unit. In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility. Works with a unit specific patient population. Qualifications REQUIRED: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty. Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS). Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units. PREFERRED: Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units. Work Hours: varies
