Position Summary: The Clinical Supervisor oversees, leads, and develops staff and manages daily operations within the service area, through effective leadership, communication, organization, and planning. This role is responsible for collaboratively meeting budgeted census projections while providing leadership to the Clinical team. Primary responsibilities Clinical Operations: Develop and manage policies and procedures to ensure effective client care. Foster a positive, trauma-informed culture and guide staff in daily decision-making and problem-solving. Strategy & Quality: Use data to assess service trends, risks, and outcomes. Oversee clinical processes and team performance, and support staff training and development. Client Services: Lead client evaluations, treatment planning, and ensure compliance with licensing standards. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Staff Leadership: Hire, train, and mentor staff. Provide regular feedback and performance evaluations. Support professional growth and uphold Nexus values. Compliance & Safety: Ensure confidentiality, promote respectful communication, and monitor health and safety standards. Encourage diversity and inclusion across the team. Requirements Required Education and Licensure Master's degree in Social Services, Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or clinically related field required. Must have a current LICSW, LPCC, LMFT in Minnesota. Experience in adolescent, adult, and family-based behavioral counseling and/or clinical experience required. Valid driver’s license required. Must meet state regulating agency and Home Office driving requirements Must successfully pass a DHS criminal background check. Must be open to meeting the cultural needs of individuals or communities, considering factors such as language, traditions, and values. Preferred Education and Experience: Five (5) years’ experience in adolescent, adult, and family-based behavioral counseling and/or residential experience preferred. Two (2) years supervisory experience preferred.
