Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and developing SPY clinical programs and services, including contract compliance, providing counseling to youth and their families, overseeing substance abuse services, providing clinical supervision and oversight to staff roles, and incorporating health and wellness support across spy housing programs with a 4/10 schedule. This position requires an extremely perceptive and proactive person who is capable of relating to and working with individuals at all levels within the organization. The Clinical Supervivsor be sensitive to employee morale and SPY’s organizational needs, and will work closely with the Clinical Director and Chief Program Officer to support SPY’s mission and best practices.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Oversee, grow, and develop sustainable high quality clinical programming in alignment with
  • SPY’s strategic plan and in collaboration with SPY leadership team.
  • Provide group and individual clinical supervision for staff and clinical interns.
  • Provide onsite supervision to Clinical team members, as well as agency-wide clinical
  • consultation.
  • Provide regularly scheduled clinical supervision groups with SPY’s drop-in center and
  • housing site teams utilizing ethical/legal and HIPAA standards of practice.
  • Review, provide coaching on best practices, and co-sign clinical documentation.
  • Manage SPY’s Clinical Internship program in partnership with Co-Clinical Supervisor.
  • Provide ongoing timely feedback to supervisees and complete employee and intern
  • performance evaluation processes, per SPY and graduate program timelines.
  • Contribute to the financial management of the department, including managing expenses in
  • alignment with programmatic budgets.
  • Provide mediation and crisis intervention to youth; participate in on-call clinician rotation
  • during drop-in hours; oversee member accountability processes.
  • Provide individual therapy to transitional age youth utilizing trauma-informed and culturally
  • sensitive models of care.
  • Develop and manage community partnerships to ensure member access to comprehensive
  • behavioral health, medical, and parenting resources.
  • Provide written and verbal reports of how the program is functioning; represent Safe Place
  • for Youth locally and nationally, as needed.
  • Complete and submit all required documentation, forms, and statistical reports within
  • designated timelines.
  • Serve in leadership team rotation to facilitate pre-brief and debrief meetings and opening
  • and closing of the drop-in center.
  • Conduct staff training and presentations as needed.
  • Additional ad-hoc duties as required for departmental and agency need.
