Clinical Supervisor will provide evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples and families. The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic has a commitment to training, consultation and proficiency in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure. The Clinical Supervisor will provide evidence-based treatment to veterans, particularly those who served in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and their families. The Clinical supervisor will have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and should be skilled at offering treatment in a measurement-based, time-limited treatment environment. Clinical supervisor must have background and training in utilizing evidence-based interventions in the assessment and treatment of mood disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and adjustment disorders. Qualified candidates will be proficient in providing individual, couples, and family therapy, with an emphasis on delivering evidence-based care. Certification or documented proficiency in one or more in one or more of the following EBPs: PE, CBT and CPT is required at time of hire or within a year of employment. This position summary is intended to identify some of the duties and responsibilities of this position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Clinical Supervisor is responsible to the Associate Director for implementing and maintaining clinical supervision CARF, BBS, and company standards and policies Maintain a combination of clinical caseload and clinical supervision for the Cohen Clinic Perform and document biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, client progress and referral information accordingly Carry a caseload providing individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy to clients, with a focus on delivering evidence-based treatments via telehealth or in person Collaborate and coordinate with multi-disciplinary team to provide the best care to clients as needed. Assist and respond to crisis situations as needed Attend and/or lead weekly clinical, supervision, and administrative meetings Develop, implement and maintain practicum/student intern program including creating and administering necessary trainings to enhance clinical practice and ensure appropriate documentation of clinical care Provide administrative and clinical supervision to clinical associates, licensed therapists, case managers and/or practicum students as needed Fulfill necessary coursework and assigned tasks including but not limited to learning plans, student evaluations, etc. to fulfill role of field supervisor Serve as a liaison between clinic and local universities/community partners Attends or hosts clinic and community events as a representative of the Cohen Military Family Clinic. Perform other duties as required Qualities: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively via oral or written means Ability to present a professional and positive demeanor to veterans, their families, staff, supportive services personnel, funders, and the stakeholders Ability to make oral presentations Ability to maintain composure and self-control during challenging circumstances and crises Ability to adapt to change and respond in a professional manner in all situations Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel Background with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) Ability to set work priorities and to evaluate and create solutions to work related problems Ability to maintain professional boundaries Qualifications Qualifications: A minimum of three years’ experience in a clinical setting Intern/Practicum Student and/or clinical associate supervisory experience A Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or (Psy.D.) degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited psychology program. Shall have completed an APA-accredited internship/residency in professional psychology, or a master’s degree in social work and licensed to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or a Master’s degree in counseling and licensed to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC); or a Master’s degree in marriage and family therapy and licensed to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) A minimum of three years’ experience working with adults, children, couples, and families is preferred Knowledge in DSM-IV/DSM-V/DSM-V TR diagnoses is required Experience and sufficient knowledge in PTSD diagnosis and in trauma-related EBP treatment is preferred Certification or documented proficiency in one or more of the following EBPs: PE, CBT, and CPT are preferred Experience working with military populations and/or Veterans is strongly preferred Must be highly organized and detail oriented Have and maintain a good standing license to practice psychology, social work, counseling and/or marriage and family therapy Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice and possess a valid driver’s license Must be available and willing to travel to various locations with such frequency as the business need dictates Must be available and willing to work overtime as required Employees can expect to work one evening a week and some weekend days during the month to accommodate the schedules of the clients being served in addition to regularly scheduled hours Knowledge of clinical services, community resources, and local universities PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical requirements described herein are representative of those which must be met by an employee to successfully perform the primary functions of this job.
