Description Basic Function: To assist in the provision of quality health care. Provide clerical support to the Clinical team. Assists with clinical procedures as required. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Print chart preps for upcoming appointments for Clinical support to update 2. Answer phone calls and pages, coordinating communication with team members and patients 3. Complete robust calling, appointment confirmations, etc. 4. Obtain lab, radiology or other test results as requested by provider 5. Assist with task follow-up and closure 6. Schedule patient appointments according to guidelines 7. Assist with and promote all processes associated with the Coleman initiative 8. Promoting Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives Any other clinical duties and responsibilities as requested by management and supervision Requirements Knowledge/ Education Requirements: High school graduate or GED, experience in ambulatory care preferred Must demonstrate computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite. EMR experience preferred Must possess a willingness to accept direction from providers and supervisors Must possess the ability to work well and with compassion in stressful situations Must maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with both patients and co-workers Must be keenly aware of the importance of confidentiality in all aspects of the position
Responsibilities
