Description

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a casual Clinical Support Assistant under the direction of the Manager, Patient Transport/Customer Service or authorized designee, the Transporter will safely and efficiently transport patients throughout the Medical Center. Qualifications EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Successful completion of a nurse aide program preferred. EXPERIENCE: Nurse aide experience preferred but not required. Previous experience working with the public and or patients and their families helpful. SKILLS: Verbal ability required to communicate with patients and understand instructions received from nursing staff. Ability to lift patients and operate transport equipment. Good body mechanics. Have nimble hands and a pleasing voice. Should have the ability to remain calm even when working under pressure. Maintains BLS certification.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Support Assistant will safely and efficiently transport patients throughout the Medical Center. This role is under the direction of the Manager, Patient Transport/Customer Service or authorized designee.
