St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a full time Clinical Support - LPN/MA for our Outpatient EP Department.  The position will maintain a high quality of effectiveness and will provide assistance as necessary to co-workers and patients through an office oriented environment  Candidates should anticipate a high volume of in-person and telephone interaction with patients, employees and co-workers. As such a pleasant personality is essential for this position. Applicants will be expected to maintain a professional demeanor and positively represent the Hospital at all times. Qualifications To be considered, candidates must have their active Medical Assistant certification or active WV LPN License.  Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: * Accurately and thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the physician. * Answering phones & Making appointments * Greeting & interacting with patients & customers * Initial patient screenings * Pulling and filing patient charts * Taking blood pressure & medical histories * Assisting doctors * Calling or faxing prescriptions * Giving injections or drawing blood
Responsibilities
The Clinical Support will document medical visits and procedures, assist doctors, and interact with patients. Responsibilities also include answering phones, making appointments, and managing patient charts.
