About the role The Clinical Support Nurse (Perioperative- Cardiac Catheter Laboratory) is an experienced clinician who promotes evidence-based practice and high-quality patient care. Clinical Support Nurses (CSNs) support nursing staff and students across all education levels, including undergraduate to post-graduate learners, apply theoretical knowledge to clinical practice in diverse settings. Working with the Clinical Education Department, CSNs help develop staff capabilities in advanced patient assessment and management. The role includes delivering tutorials, providing bedside teaching, conducting assessments and mentorship of all staff and students. About you As a passionate, patient-focused nurse who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic cath lab environment, you will also have the following: Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with NMBA Recent and relevant clinical experience in cardiac catheter lab laboratory Relevant post graduate qualification in Cardiac Nursing (specialty stream in Cardiac Interventional Radiology Nursing or equivalent) Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent Facilitation of clinical learning & the provision of performance feedback Ability to engage and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders Desirable: Post graduate qualification in Clinical Education (or working towards) To view full position description click here Enquiries should be directed to: Tabitha Hole, Clinical Education Curriculum Developer on 0412 813 479.
