Responsibilities

The Clinical Support Officer (CSO) role will be ward/unit based and provides a range of administrative and clinical support services to enable the ward to achieve their objectives in a timely, reliable, patient focused and effective manner.

The role entails but is not limited to the following:

  • Organising departmental meetings
  • Minute taking
  • Liaising with company representatives for in-service and journal clubs
  • Maintaining and ordering department’s clinical stock and stationery
  • Support with client group education sessions including OZ-DAFNE program,
  • Maintenance of Health Roster to support the CNC in her management of the department
  • Support and relief Administration Officer Level 2 with referrals and scheduling appointments as required
