Job Description We are seeking for candidate with experience in mental health or allied health clinic administration (highly desirable) who can cover Monday to Wednesday as a minimum. The role can be based at Melbourne VIC, Newcastle NSW or Sydney NSW area. This is a hybrid arrangement - a mixture of working in the office and from home. Responsibilities: Supporting our national team of mental health clinicians to provide exceptional mental health support to individuals and businesses across Australia. Meeting and greeting clients who attend the practice. Answering and making phone calls in a prompt and courteous manner to book and reschedule appointments and maintain waiting lists Referral entry and allocation of service packs. Maintaining client details and appointments in the company’s practice management system Zanda. Collecting and managing client payments, processing Medicare rebates and processing invoices for third party payments Managing medical and business correspondence Actioning clinician requests promptly Completing record keeping tasks for the clinic Other duties consistent with the position where required and/or requested by management. Qualifications We are looking for an experienced, well presented, confident and friendly individual, with an exceptional telephone manner and positive approach to work. This is a perfect role for someone looking to secure a long-term administration role within a growing organisation. You will also have: Previous experience in mental health or allied health clinic administration is highly desirable; Allied Health qualifications are highly desirable for triage and risk assessment; Experience operating in fast paced, process driven businesses that deliver quality outputs in line with customer requirements; Under the direction of the CSS Team Leader, manage day to day workflow allocation to ensure tasks are completed within required timeframes; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to maintain a pleasant and friendly working manner; A strong team player to support a growing team of clinicians as well as the Access Psych management team; Ability to work independently, efficiently, and effectively with a high degree of attention to detail; Excellent time management and problem-solving skills; Strong computer skills - familiarity with medical or health related practice management systems, Zanda, Outlook, Office and an understanding of Medicare, DVA and Workers Compensation is preferred; Self-motivated with ability to maintain a positive can-do attitude; Ability to treat all sensitive information with professionalism and confidentially; Demonstrated initiative and openness to learn.
