Job Details Job Location: Jacksonville FL - Fleming Island, FL 32003 Job Title: Clinical Support Specialist – Full-Arch (Dental Assistant / Lab Technician) Location: Hub-Based (Local and Regional Travel Required) Travel Requirement: Up to 20% overnight local and regional travel Employment Type: Full-Time, Salary This is not a typical dental assistant job and not a desk job either. If you are an experienced Dental Assistant or Lab Technician who: Thinks a few steps ahead during complex cases Is comfortable jumping in to keep a clinical day running smoothly Understands how surgery, restorative, and lab workflows connect Is usually the person who ends up figuring things out when something new shows up in the office This role was built for how you already work, just across more than one practice. This role offers the opportunity to grow professionally without leaving clinical work behind. What This Role Looks Like Day to Day Your work generally falls into four areas. 1. Hands-On Clinical Support Depending on the needs of the practice and the case, you may be: In the operatory supporting full-arch procedures Assisting during restorative phases so the doctor can focus time in another room 2. Training and Digital Workflow Implementation In other settings, you may be: Utilizing your expertise with proven JB processes to help practices adopt or refine digital workflows including intraoral scanning, photogrammetry, and 3D printing workflows Training teams so tools and systems are used correctly and consistently If you have ever had new equipment dropped into your practice after a doctor returned from a convention or met with a rep, and you were the one expected to figure out how to make it work in real life, this role will feel very familiar. Here, that skill set is valued, supported, and shared across practices. 3. Clinical Stewardship of Partner Practices Serve as a trusted clinical support resource for full-arch cases from planning through delivery Communicate directly with surgeons, restorative doctors, and office teams Identify potential workflow or record issues early and help teams address them Coordinate with lab teams across design, milling, printing, and finishing Help onboard and support new doctor teams into our customer portal and established workflows Over time, you will build familiarity with the practices you support. You will learn their workflows, preferences, communication styles, and priorities. This allows you to anticipate needs, provide consistent support, and help cases run more smoothly over time. 4. Operational and Logistics Responsibilities Maintain inventory and supplies at the clinical hub Instrument handling and sterilization Ensure equipment is organized, functional, and ready for use Drive a company vehicle between the clinical hub and partner offices Help keep vehicles and mobile lab equipment clean, organized, and operational Who This Role Is a Good Fit For This role can work well for people from either background. Dental Assistants Experience with full-arch implant cases, components, systems, and timelines Comfortable in fast-moving, high-pressure clinical environments Strong understanding of patient flow and chairside realities Lab Technicians Experience with full-arch workflows Familiarity with CAD/CAM and 3D printing Comfortable explaining technical concepts to clinical teams For Everyone Comfortable with digital dentistry tools and workflows Not intimidated by new technology or 3D printing, and willing to learn new systems as they are introduced Solid computer skills including email, Word, Excel basics, and PowerPoint basics Organized and dependable, with the ability to manage details independently in a changing environment Flexible and adaptable when priorities shift, cases change, or offices have different ways of working Comfortable taking initiative when something needs attention rather than waiting to be asked Calm, professional, and service-oriented when working with offices, even on busy or high-pressure days Valid driver’s license and comfortable driving a company vehicle Ability to pass a background check and drug screening You Might Also Bring Experience with multiple implant systems and multi-unit abutments Interest in education or in-office training in small groups Experience supporting multiple dental practices or locations Why Join JB Dental Lab JB Dental Lab offers competitive pay and benefits including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
