Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust provides child and adult mental health services, learning disability, wellbeing, older people’s and eating disorder services across Norfolk and Suffolk.

JOB DESCRIPTION/PERSON SPECIFICATION

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions

Responsibilities

MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Updating clinical and prison systems.
  • Answering telephones and using prison based digital messaging,
  • Collation, inputting and extraction of data onto and from spreadsheets
  • Minute Taking
  • Collecting/printing and delivering post
  • Attending Meetings and Away Day as service need requires
  • Photocopying
  • Stores Ordering using our designated electronic system

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

You will need to be able to demonstrate our essential criteria on your application and at interview:

  • Communication skills
  • ICT skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Packages
  • Ability to Prioritise
  • Working under Pressure and with minimal supervision
  • GCSE Grade C or equivalent (including Functional Skills Level 2) in English and Maths.
