Clinical Technician 1 Job Responsibilities (to include but not limited to) * Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse. * ADLs * Blood Draws * IV Insertion * Catheter / Foley insertion * Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors. * Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system. * Training: Must be available for six (6) weeks of paid training, consisting of, * Virtual modules (Two from 8AM -4:30PM) * Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total) * Shifts on unit (8hrs & 12hrs) Minimum Qualifications: * Education: High School diploma or equivalent. * Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire * Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English * Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds Preferred Qualifications: * Healthcare experience strongly preferred We are Inova, Northern Virginia’s leading nonprofit healthcare provider.
