LICENSED THERAPIST 📍 Norristown, PA 💲 $22.18 – $26.70/hour 🕒 Full-Time ---------------------------------------- POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy to children, adolescents, or adults within a behavioral health and substance use treatment setting. This role focuses on delivering evidence-based care, supporting recovery goals, and coordinating services to meet the comprehensive needs of individuals served. The ideal candidate is compassionate, clinically strong, and experienced in working with individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. ---------------------------------------- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES THERAPEUTIC SERVICES * Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices * Partner with individuals to develop and achieve recovery goals related to mental health and/or substance use disorders * Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans * Support aftercare planning and follow-up services ---------------------------------------- CASELOAD MANAGEMENT * Maintain an active caseload and ensure consistent client engagement * Track treatment plans and documentation to meet program and funder requirements * Participate in clinical team meetings to review treatment progress and discharge planning * Identify and coordinate additional resources and community supports * Advocate for individuals to ensure access to necessary services and supports ---------------------------------------- ADMINISTRATIVE & COMPLIANCE * Complete timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) * Ensure compliance with all regulatory, licensing, and organizational standards * Provide supervision to non-licensed staff as required * Respond to crisis situations and provide appropriate intervention * Perform additional duties as assigned ---------------------------------------- QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field required * Master’s degree in a human services field preferred * State certification or licensure required or ability to obtain within designated timeframe * Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders * At least 1 year of experience in substance use/drug and alcohol treatment * Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems * Required clearances (as applicable): * ACT 33/34 * PA State PATCH ---------------------------------------- CORE COMPETENCIES * Effective Communication – Clear, respectful, and professional interaction with clients, families, and staff * Ethical Practice – Maintains confidentiality and upholds professional standards * Leadership & Accountability – Provides direction and takes ownership of outcomes * Collaboration – Works effectively with interdisciplinary teams and community partners * Cultural Humility – Demonstrates respect for diverse backgrounds and experiences * Problem Solving – Resolves challenges with a solution-focused approach * Compliance & Organization – Adheres to policies, maintains accurate documentation, and manages workload effectively ---------------------------------------- ADDITIONAL SKILLS * Crisis intervention and behavioral management * Knowledge of state and federal regulations in behavioral health/residential care * Medication administration familiarity (if applicable) * CPR/First Aid certification (preferred) * Strong interpersonal and customer service skills ---------------------------------------- WHAT WE OFFER * Competitive hourly pay * Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in behavioral health * Supportive, team-oriented environment * Ongoing training and professional development About Company: Apis Services, Inc.
