Description *To meet the needs of the children and families we serve, this role requires evening and weekend availability. Description About Us: Growing Hope is dedicated to providing exceptional mental health and behavioral health services to at risk children, youth and their families. We are seeking a passionate and experienced therapist to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the community. Key Responsibilities: Provide individual and family therapy to children and families. Conduct assessments, Individual Plans of Care, and manage crisis situations. Collaborate with inter and intra agency staff and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Utilize a secure telehealth platform for remote sessions, with occasional in-person sessions as needed. Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with Growing Hope and Medicaid regulatory standards. Essential Duties: Manage a panel of clients, delivering evidence-based assessments and therapeutic interventions. Develop and update clinical and Independent Plans of Care in collaboration with clients, family members and other assigned providers. Track client progress and serve as an accountability partner. Engage in discharge planning, case management, and coordination with other providers. Respond to crises, develop safety plans, and provide follow-up intervention services. Communicate effectively with team members and report any clinical concerns to the Clinical Director. Lead treatment team meetings and apply an integrated care model to enhance treatment outcomes. Submit documentation of all services in accordance with regulations determined by Growing Hope, South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, and other regulatory authorities Adhere to ethical standards and agency procedures for abuse reporting and crisis situations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Licensed practitioner in behavioral health in South Carolina: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) – requires a master’s degree in counseling and specific licensure Licensed Psycho-educational Specialist (LPES) - Requires a master's degree in a relevant field and specific licensure Licensed Independent Social Worker, Clinical Practice (LISW-CP) - Requires a master's degree in social work and specific licensure Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)- Requires a master's degree in marriage and family therapy and specific licensure. May be provisionally licensed with independent, formal supervision secured. Minimum of two years of experience working with children and families from diverse backgrounds. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in computer use and maintaining documentation according to Growing Hope and/or SCDHHS standards. Training in trauma-informed care or experience with clients with a history of trauma preferred. Experience with play therapy for younger clients is a plus. Commitment to Growing Hope's mission, values, and core principles. Ability to forge respectful partnerships and work collaboratively with team members.
