EROS – Emotions Reactions Options Solutions Inc.’s main purpose is to provide access to individual clinical therapy, as well as educational and information sessions. Therefore, EROS consist of a group of helping professionals specialized in various areas of expertise. What sets EROS apart is undoubtedly the great clinical therapists that make up its team of professionals. Each one of them has the same goal: the well-being of their clients.
EROS is looking for mental health professionals who has a master’s degree in the helping professionals’ field. It is required to offer a professional and confidential service during in-person or virtual sessions. At this time, the EROS team is looking for professionals who are sometimes available to work during evening and week-end hours.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Client Interventions:
o Provide clinical counseling, educational and informative sessions
o Ability to intervenes using recognized approaches and theoretical models
o Ability to structure and facilitate the therapeutic process
o Develop with the client an intervention plan based on his/ her needs
o Ability to apply theoretical knowledge, critical thinking and critical judgment
o Ability to ensure coordination and case management when other partners/ agencies are involved with the client’s file by respecting procedures in place
o Ensure approaches and/or programs recommended in the service plan are evidence-based
o Assess needs in order to establish an intervention plan with the client based on clinical approaches, and offer individual and group interventions
o Develop with the client an intervention plan according to his/her needs
o Committed to working co-operatively with clients and members of the interdisciplinary team

o Ability to manage interpersonal relationships with clients and colleagues
o Capacity for effective cooperation/ communication
o Professionalism
o Discretion and confidentiality
o Desire to meet the needs of the community and its clientele based on a set of values such as commitment, integrity, collaboration, excellence, accountability and compassion

o Knowledge and ability to use basic computer software
o Experience in the use of computer tools, including Microsoft Office Suite
o Prepare reports, maintain notes, etc.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING
· Degree in social work, counselling or other university degree relevant to the practice of counselling and psychotherapy from a recognized training institution
