The Clinical Training and Education Registered Nurse or Paramedic plays an essential role in the coordination, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement, patient safety, and process improvement throughout the project. They assist and manage onboarding and continuing competency requirements for all levels of personal and departments. The individual assigned to this role assists with the management of quality measures for the project and compliance with regulatory, internal International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. policies and programs essential for quality care. They work to improve patient engagement, collaborates with the clinical leadership and staff to provide guidance and improve workflow processes. This position is based in Israel. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the general orientation program and assures adequate onboarding of personal including building tours; department head presentations, philosophy sharing, facility management and quality assurance programs. Ensure all new employees have sufficient training and exposure to compliance and safety policies and procedures including but not limited to resident rights and abuse reporting, confidentiality of information, fire safety, disaster plans, infection control, safety practices/toxic substances, and needs of the elderly, ill and handicapped. Implement department specific orientation programs for new staff in collaboration with department leadership. Responsible for maintaining, scheduling, managing and presenting ongoing training and competency programs. Maintains a safe workplace and complies with Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality requirements and goals. Facilitates activities related to quality and performance improvement programs in accordance with the requirements of International SOS’s Quality Control Program in conjunction with the Program Manager (PM) and Quality Manager (QM). Assist Managers and Site Leadership in developing process improvements in support of International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. quality project plan and quality improvement plan in partnership with the PM and QM. Supports data reporting to outside agencies as requested by leadership. Supports project leadership with training and development of clinical and annual competencies. Maintains training records and data. Actively participates in Mass Casualty exercises and events. Completes required organizational compliance education, including assigned requirements that are client-specified, for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies. Additional Duties: Compliance with International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. policies and procedures. Qualifications Required Skills and Knowledge: A minimum of two (2) years of experience as an RN or Paramedic is required. Current experience in direct patient care and must have worked a minimum of 6-months of the last 12-months in career field. Proficient IT skills including use of electronic medical records systems. Have high fluency in both oral and written English. Experience Preferred: Experience on a military/government site, working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred. Remote site experience preferred. Education Required: Current unrestricted state license or practicing license as required from Country of Licensure as an RN or Paramedic. Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Physical Requirements: Sitting, standing, walking, climbing, bending/stooping, kneeling, twisting. Visual acuity. Minimal hearing loss. Push/pull/carry minimum 50 lbs. Other Special Qualifications: Obtain medical clearance and maintain current immunizations. Must be able to relocate to Israel. A valid passport is required and must be in your possession prior to relocation. You must maintain a current passport during your stay in Israel. Ability to obtain a USG clearance. Additional Information Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
