Description

The Clinical Training Specialist manages talent solutions and provides the oversight and delivery of training that has been created for specific business teams, contracts such as training materials and logistics. This role will consult with business partners and leaders to ensure talent solutions and programs meet business needs.

JOB SUMMARY

· Delivers training to internal/external customers, primarily systems, new hire & community engagement focused
· Works closely with team leadership, as applicable, to streamline any training created with LOB, as well as any administrative support needed
· During virtual training, acts as “producer” by monitoring chats, executing breakout groups & conducting polls
· Complexities include the day-to-day execution of delivering training and managing training materials.
· Typically partners with supervisors and managers.
· Provides feedback during and post-training to appropriate stakeholders.
· Collaborates with team leadership and LOB stakeholders to ensure a successful training experience.
· This role has a strong front-line impact on the organization due to the forward-facing nature of the position.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • InterQual certification required
  • Minimum 1-3 yrs. in training delivery, facilitation, and virtual classroom management required
  • Minimum 3-5 years in a clinical environment (Home Care, DME, Long-term Care, Hospital etc.) required.
  • CCM certification preferred
  • Clinical licensure required (RN, LCSW, LSW, LPC etc.)
  • Demonstrated training skills in live and virtual environments.
  • Introductory knowledge and application of adult learning theory or principles.
  • Highly skilled in using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) products.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Remote role with occasional travel (Less than 5%)
  • Must have a home office, mobile phone, computer with security requirements met.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to speak, hear, and comprehend both written and verbal communications.
