POSITION SUMMARY
Toronto Memory Program is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and metrics-driven Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Clinical Trial Recruitment team as a Clinical Trial Educator. In this role, you will help identify clinical trial opportunities, collaborate with physicians, and educate patients and families about research participation.
This is an ideal position for someone passionate about Alzheimer’s disease, aging, and clinical research - who thrives at the intersection of patient care, education and strategic recruitment. You’ll help connect eligible patients with trials, with a special focus on reaching communities historically underrepresented in research.
We are looking for someone who is metrics-driven and empathetic, able to translate complex information into meaningful conversations, and motivated by improving outcomes for older adults through inclusive research. Your impact will be measured not only by numbers but by the lives you help reach and engage.
PATIENT & FAMILY EDUCATION
· Educate patients and families about clinical trials in a clear, compassionate way.
· Present potential benefits and considerations to support informed decisions.
· Balance recruitment goals with a patient-centered approach.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
· Strong interest in Alzheimer’s disease, aging, and clinical research.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and engage both patients and healthcare professionals.
· Experience in clinical settings, education, or health promotion is an asset.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where recruitment needs and projects may shift over time.
· Metrics-driven mindset with the ability to balance compassion with performance goals.
· Must be onsite full-time, with occasional travel within the Greater Toronto Area for outreach activities as needed.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
