This position has an end date of March 31, 2027. Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person work at North Campus Edmonton. The Edmonton TB Clinic belongs to two clinical trials networks – the Canada, Australia, Benin and Vietnam network coordinated through McGill University and is also a member of the TB Trials Consortium of the Centers for Disease Prevention and Control in Atlanta, Georgia through the aforementioned CABV Network. Membership in TBTC is over a period of 10 years, and will involve recruiting into multiple studies related to the treatment of active TB disease and TB infection as approved by the TBTC. The Clinical Trials Coordinator will be responsible for overall management of a master agreement as a contracted recruiting site, and the management of each clinical trial, per protocol, which will be approved as distinct work orders. Previously, this position, in our unit, was responsible for managing a single clinical trial. The Clinical Trials Coordinator, under the supervision of the site investigator, will be responsible for coordination and execution of an actively recruiting site for clinical trials (the Edmonton TB Clinic) through its membership in the TB Trials Consortium of the Centers for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC). Trials will be focused on treatments for active TB disease and TB infection.
