Reporting To: Professor of Psychiatry and Senior Lecturer in Psychiatry
Location: Tutor registrar positions are available in North Dublin MHS, Monaghan, Cluain Mhuire, Newcastle, and Waterford
Contract: 12 months, renewable, part-time (0.25FTE)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Please note that successful candidates will be required to complete:

• Occupational Health Clearance
• Garda Vetting
• Police Clearance (if in residence outside of Ireland for periods of 6 months or more at any stage)

Garda Vetting and Occ Health checks will be conducted by RCSI and partners but Police Clearance certification from countries outside of Ireland will be the responsibility of the successful candidate.

Employees are required to undertake 6 months service in their current role before applying for other internal opportunities, unless agreed in advance by the SMT representative

• Contributing to the clinical teaching programme in the senior cycle programmes
• Contributing to the assessment of students in senior cycles programmes. This includes development, delivery and evaluation of course content
• Liaising with heads of department, project leaders for clinical competence and other relevant faculty members in planning, delivering and evaluating teaching programmes
• Providing resources and communication with student groups via the RCSI virtual learning environment
• Delivering the curriculum at a number of sites e.g. assigned hospitals, RCSI Campus
• Assist in drafting exam questions under the direct supervision of the Head of the department and Professors.
• Coordinating exam standard setting
• Assist in the creation of multimedia teaching content e.g. Videos; podcasts etc
• Grading and recording of student coursework e.g. logbook and online quizzes
• Assisting with student exam
