Accredited Clinical Vascular Scientist band 7 link grade 8a Full time
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and caring Clinical Vascular Scientist to join our team at Ashford and St Peters Hospital Foundation Trust.
You will be performing all vascular ultrasound modalities including arterial duplex, venous reflux duplex, carotid duplex, EVAR, AAA surveillance and graft surveillance.

To provide a quality scanning and reporting service in all aspects of vascular ultrasound for Ashford and St Peters Hospitals
To be involved with service delivery and service improvement for the benefit of the patient through audit and research
To maintain high clinical standards, particularly regarding patient care, clinical risk and Health and Safety
To liaise with other Health Care Professionals and departmental staff on a daily basis
To continue to develop one’s own knowledge, practice and development through continued professional development
To participate in Quality Assurance and Quality Control of the ultrasound equipment
To participate in the practical and theoretical training of student practitioners
To understand the implications of the Health and Safety at Work Act and ensure a safe working environment for patients, visitors and staff according to the Trusts’ Health and Safety Policy
