Schedule Details 40 hours per week Two 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM Two 8-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Every other weekend on-call Holiday call rotation with Unit Director Role Overview This position blends direct patient care with leadership responsibilities: Workload Split: 75%25 staffing, 25%25 office time (weekly or bi-weekly) Responsibilities Include: Supporting nursing students and new staff Developing individualized care plans and patient goals Educating patients and families Advocating for patient needs Promoting safety and quality care Applying critical thinking to clinical and social issues Benefits: Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 for eligible candidates Paid Time Off: Up to 5.5 weeks annually + 7 paid holidays Tuition Reimbursement: Up to $6,000/year for employees and dependents Includes no-cost RN-BSN/MSN options for UPMC employees Career Advancement: Access to UPMC’s nursing career ladder Qualifications Clinician Fellow: Salary: $39.84 – $53.50/hour Experience: Minimum 2 years Education: BSN required or enrolled within 1 year of hire; completion within 3 years Preferred: MSN or CNL Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 for eligible candidates Rehab or stroke experience preferred but not required Clinician: Salary: $42.52 – $56.70/hour Experience: Minimum 3 years Education: BS/BSN required If BS is not in nursing, a Master’s or higher in Nursing is required Preferred: Master’s degree Rehab or stroke experience preferred but not required Licensure & Certifications Current RN license in practicing state BLS or CPR (AHA standards) within 30 days of hire National certification preferred Act 34 clearance required UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
