Description
Description Must be able to perform: Continuous clinical assessment of clients' strengths, limitations, and needs based on ASAM dimensions, and timely recommendations regarding appropriate ASAM level of care Work in a team oriented system, incorporation contributions of client, other employees and client's collaterals. Utilize multiple streams of information to effectively and efficiently individualize treatment planning Travel to Jasper when needed to register clients in Outpatient or offer further services. Transportation of clients Alcohol/drug testing of clients Support with progressive medication management, in support of case managers and program assistants Intake screenings, transition support, and groups/lectures for clients in any Fellowship House level of care. Coordinate and maintain all documentation in client file for all clients on caseload (average 40 clients on caseload in Opioid Specific Outpatient Program) Work schedule consists of 8 hour work day Monday-Friday; extended hours when needed to provide continue direct care services; Holiday coverage in rotation with other staff Requirements Master's level degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field. Commitment to ongoing personal education, training, related certifications, and skill development in implementation of Fellowship House services. Knowledge of ASAM dimensions and levels of care; knowledge of Recover Oriented Systems of Care; knowledge of NIDA Principles of Effective Treatment; should continually increase knowledge/proficiency as part of ongoing professional development Knowledge of the bio-psychosocial effects of addiction/co-occurring disorder in the individual, family, and community; should continually increase as part of professional development Effective written and oral communication skills, regarding clinical activities within the program and outreach/community activities representing the program; ability to attend to and utilize multiple streams of information. Ability to work in a partnership/consultant relationship with clients, indidividually and in groups to effectively and efficiently develop, implement and measure fulfillment of individualized treatment plan Ability to work in a team oriented system, incorporating contributions of client, employees, and collaterals in treatment planning and continuous clinical assessment Knowledge of all Fellowship House’s services and ASAM levels of care, including mission, management, objectives and operations; should continually increase knowledge as part of ongoing professional development Valid driver's license Must have and annually renew CPR certification and First Aid certification. Responsibilities
