Description GENERAL FUNCTION: To assist in maintaining accurate loan files with appropriate booking, making tickets, recording and releases of collateral documents, scanning documents, maintaining the incomplete list, and checking loans for completeness and accuracy. Process poultry and swine payments. Assures tasks are completed accurately, timely and professionally to ensure professional service to internal and external customers. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide friendly customer service Work ethics with high priority given to accuracy, integrity, neatness, and borrower privacy Represent the bank and participate in community activities and local affairs to enhance business development. Protect bank’s information and systems Participate in ongoing training and development seminars to stay current on new regulations, policies within the loan department. Enter new loans into loan system and complete corresponding tickets. Reconcile settlement statements for loans Prepare checks for loans Prepare and send wires and ACHs Accept and apply loan payments and/or line of credit advances Establish and maintain a system to insure timely and appropriate filings of security documents for the perfecting of liens. Including but not limited to mortgages/deeds of trust, security agreements, and title lien statements Scan loan documents in the imaging system Responsible for pulling paid notes, purge/condense loan files Provide customers with information regarding payment history, application of payment, etc Maintain yearly RE Transfer Information and input data for 1099’s Audit new loan entry data and perform necessary file maintenance Reviewing Cash Please loans Process and mail denial and withdrawn letters Assist and maintain insurance declaration pages in loan system Other duties as assigned Requirements SKILLS & ABILITIES Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations with accuracy and efficiency. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines reliably. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office software; Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Ability to operate Windows PC-based computer software. Professional image and positive attitude. Pro-active, solutions-oriented personality with the ability to adapt to change. Being able to work independently and as a team. Maintains a positive, team-oriented attitude and is always willing to assist coworkers as needed. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Hand dexterity required to operate computer terminal and/or related equipment. Eye Coordination required to operate computer. Drive to and attend meetings as required. Move around bank between levels or floors while performing duties. Bending and stretching in work area. Sitting at desk or computer workstation for extended periods of time.
