The Client Lifecycle Management (“CLM”) Europe team is part of the Citco Group of companies (“Citco”) and is responsible for the onboarding and ongoing due diligence of Citco clients in accordance with anti-money laundering (“AML”) and know your customer (KYC) regulations. The main objective of the CLM team is to protect Citco and the Financial Industry for being used for money laundering and terrorist financing purposes.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree;
- At least 10-15 years of experience in operational management;
- At least 6 years of experience in KYC/AML and client due diligence reviews, preferable in the offshore sector or fund industry;
- Proven track record in successfully managing people & process
- ACAMS (or equivalent) certification, or willingness to obtain such certification;
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written;
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office applications (e.g., Excel, Word);
- Proven track record in successfully managing team;
- Team player;Knowledge of the alternative investment and financial industry is an advantage;
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
CLM is a centralized, cross-division team with responsibility for client due diligence. Citco is using the industry best practice software “Fen-X” from Fenergo Limited to support this process.
The Head of Operations will manage operations across three CLM regions, approximately 200 people. Each of the three regional leads will report into the Head of Ops. Each of the three regional leads will report into them. In their role, the Head of Operations will report directly to the Head of CLM, and be a senior member of the CLM management team, collaborating closely with peers to deliver the CLM strategy.
The Head of Ops is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the team; managing and developing our people and seeking opportunities to continuously improve our core processes; leveraging automation, technology, standardization (where possible). They will closely with internal stakeholders across functions and divisions to minimize operational risks and provide a high quality client experience.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of your main duties and responsibilities, you will (not exhaustive):
- Lead CLM operational globally;
- Manage and coach team members
- Effectively identify and manage risks via KPI/KRIs;
- Support the Head of CLM achieving operational and strategic goals;
- Stakeholder management; managing internal and external (clients, vendors) relationships;
- Allocating the team resources effectively and efficiently.
- Drive continuous improvements
