Overview Acts as collaborative member of the clinical team in providing continuity and quality care to patients. Initiates patient care assessments, gathers vital signs, prepares patient and exam room for procedures, draw up meds and give injections. Provide patient educations and support as needed to assist providers, patients and family. Answer and return phone calls pertaining to patients medical/clinical questions and concerns. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Experience: Six months to one year of physician office experience preferred. Licenses/Certificates: Certified Medical Assistant preferred. About Us DeKalb Regional Medical Center celebrated its 35th anniversary in October 2021.
