POSITION OVERVIEW:

Trepp is seeking a highly skilled and organized CLO Data Operations Manager to oversee the management and operations of CLO data and waterfall models. This role will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of data processes and systems, supporting Product and Engineering teams around productization efforts, managing a team of CLO analysts and working collaboratively with strategic third parties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS/BA in business, finance or technical degree, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of proven experience in data operations management.
• Understanding of CLO or structured finance.
• Strong project management skills with experience overseeing complex data initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team and work cross-functionally with various stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining data accuracy.

• Data/Model Management & Oversight:
• Oversee the collection and organization of CLO data, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
• Oversee the modeling process for CLO cashflow waterfall models and provide guidance around modeling tool needs.
• Manage workflows, processes, and internal tools to maintain up-to-date and accurate CLO data and models.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the CLO data collection and processing.
• Create and implement data quality standards, policies, and procedures.
• Collaboration & Support:
• Work closely with the CLO Product Team to understand data needs and challenges.
• Ensure solid support framework for the CLO Data Operations Team around data and deal model questions from users.
• Collaborate with CLO Product Team to enhance internal tools for data and model review.
• Team Leadership & Development:
• Supervise and mentor a team of CLO analysts.
• Train team around best practices for CLO data collection, QA, and modeling.
• Process Improvement:
• Provide analysis and recommendations to enhance data operations and strategies.
• Identify opportunities to streamline data management processes and enhance operational efficiencies.
• Help implement automation tools and solutions to reduce manual efforts in data QA and deal modeling.
