JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and food preparation, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing excellent service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your role is essential in ensuring that every customer leaves with a smile.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive interactions with customers.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station and dining area, adhering to food safety standards.
• Assist with food preparation and serving items as needed, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
• Follow all food handling guidelines and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
