We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Closing Cook to join our culinary team at Dolly’s Cocktail Bar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering delicious meals that meet our guests’ expectations while ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Duties:
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety guidelines and regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
Collaborate with Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering when necessary.
Help train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and kitchen operations.
Experience:
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is essential.
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures within the food industry.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are important for success in this role.
