Description Our Title Agency is seeking an Office Assistant to work out of our Albany office. This position primarily entails working with residential and commercial closings. Responsibilities include intake, pre-closing, reviewing title work, preparing closing documents, post-closing of files, daily deposits and issuing title reports and policies. Additional duties include greeting clients, answering calls. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Compile title reports and data Schedule closings with clients and appropriate closers Cure title issues Coordinate with client/seller, agent(s), lender and vendors to process closings Follow up on title work and/or title curative on clearing issues Solve problems and offer solutions on files to assure closing within required time frame Record documents with county clerks Follow up on any post closing issues Communicate accurately and concisely with the client/seller, agent(s), lender, vendors, and county and municipal offices Maintaining superior public relations with business associates and clients Must be motivated, able to multi-task, detail-oriented and personable Must be able to work in a team atmosphere Requirements Minimum High School diploma or equivalent; Secondary education or some college a plus Paralegal certification from an accredited institution a plus
