The BBQ Pits are rollin’ and Shaffer’s BBQ Market is hiring a CLOSING MANAGER. We are a quick-paced BBQ restaurant, Local Market, and Catering Operation. We are looking for the right person to join our growing business. We cook from scratch, smoke BBQ everyday, and genuinely enjoy serving our community.
Potential Candidates must enjoy taking care of customers, working in a team environment, and have excellent communication skills.
We are open Monday-Saturday 9a-7p, closed Sundays. This position’s shifts will be generally be 6-8 hours and will primarily be between 1:00 PM -8:00 PM, Monday-Saturday, with a day off during the week. Come check us out, have lunch, and see if you’d like to join our Team.
Responsibilities
- Manage the BBQ Market Team and ensure all Closing Tasks are completed.
- Utilize Toast POS systems to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting, and addressing customer inquiries.
- Handle food with care and adhere to food safety regulations at all times.
- Utilize communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Required Qualifications:
- POS experience
- Food service background
- Customer service skills
- Food handling knowledge
- Previous restaurant experience
- Familiarity with food safety protocols
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math proficiency
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
