In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting meat products, providing cooking tips, and ensuring that our meat display is well-stocked and attractively presented. Responsibilities Assist customers with their inquiries and selections of meat products, providing excellent service and product knowledge. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the meat department, adhering to health and safety guidelines. Prepare and package meat products for display, ensuring freshness and compliance with quality standards. Monitor inventory levels and assist with the ordering and stocking of meat products. Ensure proper labeling and pricing of products for customer visibility. Collaborate with team members to provide a seamless shopping experience for customers. Stay updated on industry trends and new products to effectively assist customers. Previous experience in a meat department or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of different cuts of meat and safe handling practices is a plus. Strong customer service skills and a friendly attitude. Attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards for product presentation. Good communication skills to effectively engage with customers and team members. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
