Description The Closing Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional client service by responding to email and phone inquiries, facilitating client requests, and proactively reaching out to ensure service satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional orders. This role works in a collaborative team environment and requires strong attention to detail in managing closing files, prioritizing pipelines, performing curative work on non-closable files, and supporting Title staff. The Closing Specialist will also handle the disbursement of funds and release of cleared documents. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary liaison between all parties involved in a file Review and examine mortgages, property titles, and trust deed documents Complete closings and prepare/distribute final closing statements Address funding conditions required by lenders Partner with Central Operations to resolve recording rejects Run daily trial balances and reconcile funds in trust accounts Follow up on policy issuance and ensure timely delivery to clients Requirements Qualifications: 2–4 years of escrow-related experience Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Reader (minimum 3 years) Strong verbal and written communication skills in English High school diploma or equivalent required Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Must be able to work with central time zone clients We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity, and sexual orientation), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
