Do you thrive in a structured, yet social environment where your upbeat attitude and persuasive charm can shine? Many Hands Thrift is looking for a dynamic and engaging Processor to join our mission-driven team! This isn't just sorting—it's treasure hunting, pricing, and merchandising all rolled into one. You’ll be the first to see the generous donations that come through our doors, playing a critical role in transforming them into resources that directly support those in need through the ministry of Many Hands. Treasure Hunter & Appraiser: You'll sort, evaluate, and assign fair prices to a wide array of items—you never know what unique find might come across your table! Visual Storyteller: Bring your sense of style! You will organize and create attractive, eye-catching displays that make our store stand out from the typical thrift experience. Quality Control: Confidently evaluate items based on condition, ensuring only the best goods make it to the floor. Team Player: Step in to assist with cashiering as needed, using your strong people skills to provide excellent customer service. Routine with a Mission: You'll enjoy a systematic workflow that provides the predictability and stability you need to be efficient and productive. Requirements What You'll Bring to Our Team: We’re looking for someone who gets energy from others and loves to maintain an optimistic, upbeat presence. You should be: Highly Social and Persuasive: You have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and can naturally "sell" the value of our mission to anyone you meet. Meticulously Organized: Your strong attention to detail ensures items are sorted correctly, priced accurately, and displayed beautifully. Patient and Methodical: You appreciate an orderly, systematic work environment with routine tasks, avoiding high-pressure, constantly changing situations. A Style Guru: You have the ability to apply a sense of style to create aesthetically pleasing, organized displays. Fashion Passion: You have a sense of clothing style and value. Mission-Focused: You are ready to positively represent the ministry of Many Hands, including its mission, vision, and core values, to all customers and donors. The Essentials: High school diploma preferred. Ability to accurately determine the value of donated items. Prolonged periods of standing. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. This is more than a job; it's an opportunity to use your social strengths and organizational skills to have a significant positive impact on our community. If you are ready to be a key part of our mission and thrive in a stable, people-focused environment, we encourage you to apply! Ready to turn your passion into purpose? Apply today!
